Giuseppe Giacomini is considered by many to be the greatest Italian true dramatic tenor for the past 50 years.

In Fall 2017 there was the 40th Anniversary of Giuseppe Giacomini’s debut at the Metropolitan Opera. On November 27, 1976 he performed Don Alvaro, with Sherill Milnes as his Carlo and James Levine conducting. Giacomini has performed great dramatic roles in the renowned opera houses and concert halls around the world. From Otello to Andrea Chenier, La Forza del Destino, Pagliacci, Tabarro, Samson, Gioconda, Fedora, Manon Lescaut, Fanciulla… When people ask whom one should look at when considering one of these roles, you will always hear the name GIACOMINI at the top of the list.
